"Looking to File Your 2023 Federal Tax Return for Free? Here's How!"

In mid-March, the IRS should have widely available, their Direct File pilot program. This program will allow taxpayers the option to file their 2023 federal tax return online with the IRS for free. There are 12 participating states in the program for this year, and you must live in one of those states to file directly with the IRS.
